Honey Strawberry Drink

Lavender Honey

Without the introduction of honeybees to the Americas in the 1640s, we would have to import honey. Imported honey is still very popular and lavender honey from Provence is perhaps the best honey I have ever tasted.

1 (10-ounce) container frozen strawberries in syrup
    1 cup cold water
    2 tablespoons clover honey
    1/2 cup lime juice
    3/4 teaspoon imitation rum flavoring
    6 ice cubes

1.  Place the strawberries, water, honey, lime juice and rum
flavoring in a blender and process until smooth.

2.  Place the blender container in freezer 10 minutes if you
are not quite ready to serve the drinks.

3.  When ready, add 6 ice cubes and process until smooth.

4.  Pour into four cold glasses. You can get the glasses cold by
placing them in the freezer for a few minutes.

Hint: You can also serve this drink in traditional glasses and
dip the rims in lime juice and then sugar before placing them
     in the freezer.

     Makes 4
drinks
