Gail Oliver and Gisele Sullivan have been re-writing, re-editing
and re-releasing their wedding guide since the first edition in
1999. They now have the 2007 guide so you will want the newest
version, but this is a review for the guide just before from
2006. The topics include:

The ideas for taking specific types of photographs is worth the
price of the book. Instead of being indoors for a picture, why
not go horse riding or take a picture by a famous landmark. They
also give you hints about where to find "wedding
stickers" for your invitations and the unique feature of
this guide is the wedding finds with hyperlinks directly to the
websites you are interested in, so you can find information
fast.
The "Things to Do for Each Other" gives you ideas for
gifts and letters you can give each other right before the
wedding. I like the idea of a shower for "guy gifts"
as well and lots of the ideas include both the groom and the
bride so the groom is more a part of the wedding from the start.
"Charter a small party of sailboat and take the entire
wedding party out on a lake for a few hours on a sunny
day."
This idea worked very well, but also works just for the
bridesmaids and mothers to get away for an afternoon. We tried
this for my wedding and it was really fun to have a catered
lunch on a boat. For wedding party gifts this was an excellent
idea:
"A gift certificate to their favorite restaurant or one of
yours would definitely come in handy, especially the day after
the wedding when they probably won't feel like cooking."
Imagine making homemade candles for your guests as wedding
favors or there is a very adventurous idea of a wedding favor
you make on the day of the wedding with a wedding picture. Ideas
for making replica wedding albums for your parents is a nice
thoughtful way to say thank you.
If you enjoy this guide, you can write the authors and they
might send you a free bonus of a Theme Wedding package for
Christmas, Valentine's and Beach Weddings. Gail & Gisele's
wedding guide has so many creative ideas it is truly amazing
they are all in one place. With this guide you can create
memories to last your entire life and you will have one of the
most unique weddings on the planet. With the 1,001 ideas in this
book, you will be sure to have a memorable day and lots of
wonderful photographs and mementos from your wedding day.
