POSTUM® LATTE

Caffeine stimulates the nervous system and causes our bodies to release insulin. Postum® is a great caffeine-free alternative to coffee, yet has a similar natural coffee flavor. It is perfect for those times when caffeine is not desired. After drinking the latte, eat the remaining ginger slice for good health.

1 teaspoon Postum®
2 tablespoons boiling water
1 cup fat-free or whole milk, heated to boiling
1 large slice crystallized ginger
1 teaspoon granulated sugar (or use Stevia or sweetener to taste)

1.  Measure Postum® and boiling water into a coffee cup.

2.  Add the milk, ginger slice and sugar.

3.  Stir well and press the ginger with spoon to express some
     great ginger flavor.

     Variation: To make a cold latte drink, mix one teaspoon of     
     Postum
® with one tablespoon boiling water and one teaspoon    
     honey or sugar. Stir this syrup into a tall glass of fat-free
     milk. This is also a good substitute for chocolate milk.
     Stevia is also a delicious sweetener.
