Chicken Noodle Soup

Thomas Fuller (1608-1661)—English clergyman —once declared his love for soup by saying: "Of soup and love, the first is best." When it comes to chicken soup, this savory comfort food will help anyone in the family who is feeling under the weather. It is easy to swallow and may be made in small quantities.

    3 cups water
    1 tablespoon chicken base
    ˝ cup Angel hair pasta, broken into 1-inch pieces
    Seasoning salt
    Pepper

1.  Pour the water into a 4-cup glass measuring cup.

2.  Stir in the chicken base and angel hair pasta.

3.  Microwave on high for 3-5 minutes or until the noodles have
     fully cooked. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

4.  Let the soup cool slightly and then serve with crackers or
     buttered bread.

5.  Garnish with Tender Loving Care.

     Variation: Add a few drops hot sauce of your choice.

     Makes 2 servings
